Tracking your employee’s hours of work is definitely a must in all companies. There are three ways in which you can do it. First is of course, the traditional use of time cards and time sheets. This is a good option because it costs very little, using few papers or time cards in a month is cheap. Of course, a lot of companies no longer use these because you would have to add all the hours of your employees manually and some may not be honest enough in logging in their time. This is perfect however, for small companies with only a few employees.
Another device that can be used in tracking your employees’ hours of work is a punch clock. It is a semi-automated way to track the hours that costs a little more than the time cards but still requires you to manually add up the hours. The main advantage of using a punch close is that your employees cannot manipulate the recorded time, making it a wise choice to avoid your employees from cheating. You’ll definitely get a more truthful tracking with this one.
The one that is widely used at present is the time close software. It may be expensive but will surely be worth every penny you spend. With it, you can run reports on your employees’ attendance in the computer for even less than five seconds.
